NASCAR Home Depot car has new driver
An era is over. After 10 years and two NASCAR Championships, Tony Stewart leaves Joe Gibbs Racing, moving on after founding his own team. Kind of sad, if you were a Smoke fan.
The new driver taking over the Home Depot car is Joey Longo. Joeys cars are now on the shop floor being readied for the 2009 Sprint Cup.
Below is a Smoke car being stripped, its lost its trunk wing, and most telling, the tires are gone. No one will drive this car again.
Below is the new Joey Longo HD car. It has a different color scheme, but its without a doubt the HD car. I think the white adds a nice touch, dont you.
Below is the Joeys last ride.

1) JGR will never be as good as they were when Tomb StoneTony drove for them. HD is a sucker for not breaking their contract with JGR and following TTS. Tony's new number commemorates on the racers in auto racing, A.J. Foyt from Huston,TX. Prediction is: Stewart wins more racs in 2009 than the rookie. At least Tony's replacement was Dale JR.
