Homemade Marshmallows Part II

I modified the marshmallow recipe today and tried flavored marshmallows. They look and smell delicious. This time I used two packets of Knox unflavored unsweetened gelatin and 1 Tablespoon of sugar-free strawberry gelatin mix. Also I left out the vanilla. George, I also have plans for almond flavored marshmallows sometime soon.

4) My Father-in-law also suggested mint flavored ones to add to hot cocoa. a little green food coloring would make them look minty. :)

5) Thanx Joe for sharing these delicious morsels! I'm keeping mine for strawberry toppers in hot cocoa that Santa left in our stockings. Yummm!

7) Great job! I'm not sure on the almond but then I'm not big on almond flavoring--even the natural stuff. Go light with it! :) It's strong. These are beautiful and if they taste as good as they look they must be wonderful!
