Humzoo Video Just Got Better
We've been super busy working on some improvements that we think everyone is going to love. We love Humzoo Video but it's always been a little behind the curve. Rome wasn't built in a day ya know.
What's Changed?
At Humzoo we're all about speed and quality, and on the Internet there is a fine line between them when it comes to video. We've spent countless hours fine-tuning the Humzoo FMU to produce better videos all around. Videos now download 20% faster and we've significantly improved the quality as well.
iPod-friendly
People are on the go and love to share their favorite videos with their friends. We've been wanting to make that possible with videos on Humzoo for a long time. We finally did it! Today videos will be available for download to use on any device that will play the m4v file format. We've tested them out and they look absolutely beautiful on iPod's and iPhone's. Please let us know of other devices out there that our videos work on as well.
Next Steps
Videos uploaded prior to today still use the older format and are not available for download. But we're not going to forget about them. We'll be converting all the previously uploaded videos in batches from newest to oldest over the next week or so. We have saved the original source file for each movie since day one, so we will create the new versions from your source movies. Once old videos have been converted, they will look better than ever and will also be available for download.
As always we'd love to hear your feedback on the new video speed and quality. We're excited about these improvements and hope you enjoy them.

It's up now. We're still trying to figure cell phone video formats out. We can support some of them but not all of them. By the time every 11 year old has a cell phone we'll be able to convert them, don't you worry about that now! I pushed it through this morning though, looked like a fun time.
