Samsung Instinct vs. iPhone
We got a pretty good offer to switch back to Sprint (our previous very long term carrier prior to TMobile.) They have a new phone that is competing with the iPhone. When our current contract expires, we'll likely be switching to either the iPhone or the Instinct.
We can get a much better price on the Instinct and a more affordable plan than the iPhone. Does anybody know anything about it? Would I be unhappy with it constantly wishing I had the iPhone?

But seriously, take your time and check them both out. Either one is an investment and you have a right to test each one out. Go to the stores and ask to see them, try them both and see which one feels better to you. The more research you do the better you will feel about your decision.
I know that's totally not helpful, but that website was a big turnoff for me.
Sounds like you are still with TMobile. If so you might want to look into the new Google phone coming out soon, called the Android. From what I have read its going to be pretty sweet. Keep in mind its probably going to cater to Google users mostly so if you don't use Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs or any of the other millions of beta products they offer it might not be the phone for you.
As far as the iPhone goes, it's totally worth it. I can't speak highly enough about the design and intuitive nature of the phone. Its like no phone I have never had before and I can't imagine how there could be anything better out there. And we looked pretty hard before leaving Verizon for AT&T.
Like Niki said the App Store does set the iPhone apart from the rest. There are currently over 3,000 awesome apps to download for free or purchase. And there are some really cool ones out there. That alone makes the phone more appealing in the long run. Also, Apple is investing a ton of time into the development and enhancements on the iPhone. New updates are coming out every couple months and I doubt that will slow down with the popularity of the App Store.
Ok, Steve Jobs needs to cut me a check now. I just wrote myself off as Apple's biggest Fanboy.
I'd visit a few stores when the Instinct comes out. Check all the phones out and figure out whats right for you, but you can't go wrong with the iPhone.
